How it works
The Pierhouse Digital Asset Library is designed to enable you to store your images, movies and sound clips in one location from which you can share with others within parameters that you define.
So, what would you need to do to share your digital assets?
- You decide whether to upload your digital assets individually or in a batch, you can even pre-define a delimited file to automatically tag the assets on batch import.
- The assets are stored with meta tags for easy keyword searching using the quick search or the advanced search page.
- Image files are presented as watermarked thumbnails for fast, easy, protected viewing. Thumbnails and preview clips are generated for video clips.
- Users are given the option to download images in whatever form or size they specify or choose from a drop down of predefined formats.
- Images can be easily cropped and resized before download; the original is not affected. The software is designed to work quickly on a browser, it is able to crop and resize images that are hundreds of megabytes in a few seconds even when using the internet.
- You control who can access the files and who can upload new assets. New assets can enter a queue for checking before being made available in the library.
