System Requirements
Operating System
The software will run on any Windows Operating System from Windows 95 upwards. However, for maximum performance we recommend Windows 2000, XP or one of the Windows Servers (e.g. 2000 Server or 2003 Server). On Linux, the software will run on any Linux or Unix Operating System that supports Java and on which ImageMagick can be installed.
Memory
As image manipulations are memory intensive you will see significant performance increases if you add more RAM. Although the software will run on less, for performance reasons, we recommend that the server has at least 2GB of RAM. If you anticipate heavy use you may benefit from increasing this to 4GB or more.
Disk Capacity
Your server needs to have enough free disk space to store all of the images/documents that you intend to add to your repository.
